- Launched digital content & services (multi-screen direct-to-consumer portal; mobile, internet, TV) start-up Insing.com from concept, business-case justification through to development & delivery of business. GM role to incubate start-up; Raised $XXm in funding, registered start-up company, recruited and built 25+ team, sourced and redeveloped new start-up offices outside of corporate headquarters, managed cross-regional product development (engineering across Australia & Singapore), consulted on branding, marketing and advertising strategies & execution, accountable for business development and contract negotiations. Covered consumer online services including; Email, IM, Address Book, Calendar, VOIP, Search, Video, Location based services.
- Responsible for 3rd party collaboration/ strategic business development with leading global partners in telco, internet & new media industry (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Adobe, France Telecom, Nokia, Friendster, Fring, Sling Media). M&A activity in targeting, assessing and developing deals to acquire Online Directory business, Jobs Board & Classifieds Business.
- Digital & Mobile Advertising – developed digital advertising strategy (including P&L revenues) for the start-up & consulted in the broad development of SingTel’s mobile advertising strategy for the Singapore market.
- Managed over $XXm in project cap-ex budgets, successfully delivering 4 major projects including; a digital media Start-up (above), a Consumer Online Store (P&L including subscriber numbers & revenue), Online Billing portal, and SingTel website rebuild. Managed $Xm team op-ex budget and managed $XXm start-up op-ex budget.
- Developed & implemented risk management & governance framework across complex matrix reporting structure – ran monthly steering committees with SingTel senior leadership: CEO, CTO, CIO, CFO, CMO & EVPs & VPs. Defined & managed consistent & robust operational processes to deliver the organisation’s strategic objectives.
- Built & managed two new teams (1) internal team of 10 direct reports for eBusiness team managing up to 100 project resources, (2) start-up business which will grow to 50+ staff (recruited 25+), and launched outside the SingTel group.
- Invited to present as subject matter expert by peers, in USA & as panelist in Singapore.

Head of Online/Web Transformation, SingTel (Optus) Sydney, Australia (01/2005-06/2006)
- Accountable for creation & delivery of online roadmap for all aspects of Optus’ consumer online business (Sales, Self-Service, Billing). Managed & delivered new online mobile phone shop from concept to service launch in 8 weeks, also delivered self-service eBilling solution for Consumer customers.
- Presented “Future of Web Enablement in 2010″ to 400+ IT internal conference audience (May 2005) & senior leadership team (August 2005).
- Drove the Digital & Web Enablement stream from strategy through to delivery (after being requested by Optus CEO & Director Product House to join small dedicated team) within an overall business transformation program in September 2005. Personally responsible for identifying over $XXm in business benefits, with the program being approved by SingTel board in March 2006. Responsible for full life-cycle from requirements sign-off through to managing SI partner (Accenture).
- Requested by SingTel CEO (Singapore parent of Optus) to consult to SingTel around their Digital Strategy (April 2006), resulted in relocation to Singapore (July 2006) initially taking up Director (eBusiness) role, and subsequently Head of New Business (Digital) role.

- Successfully delivered 13 AMP Retail Property (shopping centre) websites. Requirements definition through to managing web developers and site delivery.
- Business development: built online financial adviser affiliate & partner services with MorningStar to provide self-service pre-sales, marketing, execution and post-sales care to AMP Capital Advisors.
